Creating Balance and Harmony in the Body and Brain
|
How many brains do you have-one or two? Actually, this is quite easy to answer....You have only one brain. However, the cerebral hemispheres are divided right down the middle into a right hemisphere and a left hemisphere. Each hemisphere appears to be specialized for some behaviors. The hemispheres communicate with each other through a thick band of 200-250 million nerve fibers called the corpus callosum.
The Brain's Two Hemispheres
The logical hemisphere (usually the left side) deals with details, processes language, calculations, math and linear analysis. The gestalt - meaning whole processing as compared to linear - hemisphere (usually the right side) deals with images, rhythm, face recognition, visual imagery, music, emotions and intuition. The two hemispheres work together, are connected and share information through the corpus callosum.

Right Side Or Left Side
The right side of the brain controls muscles on the left side of the body and the left side of the brain controls the muscles on the right side of the body. In general, sensory information (eye, ear) from the left side of the body crosses over to the right side of the brain and sensory information from the right side crosses over to the left side of the brain.
|
Learning Stress
To be maximally proficient at anything it is necessary to use both sides of the brain or (whole brained). But we all have a degree of hemispheric dominance and in times of stress, or new learning, peolpe will exhibit a one sided dominance for either Logic or Gestalt.
WHEN STRESSED, the two brains can not work together in co-ordination and this causes the brain to become dyslexic. The information can not cross the corpus callosum freely.
The resulting symptoms can be feeling overwhelm, tension, joylessness, or symptoms such as trouble expressing self, working harder with out results, or trouble remembering details.
A New Way Of Understanding Brain Function:
|
Research conducted by Dorothy Espiau Ph.D. (founder of "Circles Of Life" and the "Language Of Geotran" at the International Success Institute in Sedona Arizona has discovered that the brain has at least eight "capacitor-type" electrical centers located within. These eight capacitors are connected with 12 rings of the heart/mind. The function of the capacitors is to recieve and store mind energy coming from the 12 rings.
These rings are in constant communication with our environment and continually relay the information to the eight capacitors.
When there is disharmony and stress, the person can experience learning disabilities and other dysfunctions according to which of the 12 rings are affected.
The rings can be affected by many causes including: nutrition, interaction with other people, daily life activities, trauma and genetic or cellular memory.

CIRCLES OF LIFE
Circles of Life offers the Brain Dominance Integration for maximizing integrated inter-hemispheric communication. Testing through kinesiology and certain brain-dominance evaluation procedures indicate that, indeed, following a Brain Dominance Integration individuals do not show electrical dominance patterns of brain hemispheres. However, an individual's experiences and abilities following a Brain Dominance Integration are often mitigated by longstanding mental habits and patterns which need to be changed through re-education of the energy fields using CIRCLES OF LIFE integrations and the language of GEOTRAN.

|
One Brain Integration
One of the first brain re-educations for the Circles of Life students is the "switching on" of these electrical capacitor centers through a process called the One Brain Integration. Anecdotal feedback from those experiencing this integration is that the person often senses a greater and smoother flow of memory and thought in contrast to the sometimes uneven spurts of thought which preceded the integration. This sense of increased and smoother flow reflects the capacitor nature of the eight electrical centers as recievers and storehouses for the mind energy coming from the 12 rings of the heart / mind as it interacts and interfaces with the environment. Obviously, when the One Brain Integration is completed, the flow of mind energy is recieved by all eight capacitors and the person experiences a sensation of increased capacity.
